headlight and funny noise - theories?

my off side headlight gets condensation in it. it's a bit unexpected as when i bought this van i spotted this problem and changed the headlight for the one from my old van - which didn't get any moisture in it ever. but now that it's on this van it moistens up on the inside. so, any ideas as to what's causing this and how i might fix it please?

 

also this van, in common with the old van, it makes a strange mid-pitched rattling sound on the over-run in between gear changes. the old van did it for 70 thousand miles or so and it never gave any problems or got worse, but seeing as the new van is so low mileage and i'm on the case with it currently i'd like to fix it. any ideas?

Can you upload a video of the noise in question? Think I may I have the same noise which I thought was my gear box after changing noise was still there after 6 month the box did go so on box three I decided to put a new clutch kit in noise is still there I've had it to a gear box specialist who said the box is fine but suspects a unbalanced flywheel and for the noise to be on all three boxes leads him to believe the boxes were fine but said the car sounds & drives fantastic for age , providing I can live with the rattle sound he would leave it. Just curious if this is the same as yours ?
