mikes-fat-arsed-estate Posted November 21, 2013 Share Posted November 21, 2013 hi all , some of you may know i currently have a escort estate tdi , which has recently been pretty flat power wise i know there not the fastest of cars put what ive noticed is the car picks up up speed at its best when the pedal is lightly pressed flooring it does nothing at all. i took the maf out spray it with maf cleaner put it back the car right alot better but after a few week it started with its old symptoms, i had a brand new maf for the 1.6 petrol so i removed the to security screws on the top carefully removed the sensor & placed it on the body of the diesel one fitted it back to the car all i can say it WOW! the car is full of life & fastest its ever been it used to really struggle to reach 80mph & last night (on a private road) it does 80 with no issues & was still pulling at 100, so far all im having is positive effects but could keeping the petrol maf have any other issues?
