diesel b5 and ib5 gearbox ratios (question is at the bottom)

Everywhere i look there are the three common sets of gear ratios and two tipes of diffs used.

But all are for petrol.

I can't find the gear ratios and diffs combination used on diesel esorts (fiestas maybe too) after 1993

So ok to save some post counts i'll write what's known and what i'm not looking for:

(quoted from Stu's post somewhere)

(1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & Reverse)

The B5 (Mk5/Mk5b or 1993-1995 period)

A- 3.58, 2.04, 1.32, 0.95, 0.76, 3.62

B- 3.58, 1.91, 1.28, 0.95, 0.76, 3.62

C- 3.15, 1.91, 1.28, 0.95, 0.76, 3.62

All 1.8's, and the 1.6 hatchback, have 3.82 final ratio but the 1.6 Estate has 4.27.

The iB5 (Mk6 or after 1995 period) is similar:

A- 3.58, 2.04, 1.32, 0.95, 0.76, 3.62

B- 3.58, 1.93, 1.28, 0.95, 0.76, 3.62

C- 3.15, 1.93, 1.28, 0.95, 0.76, 3.62

Same deal on final (diff) ratios ...

Ratio set A is only used on 1.3/1.4 engines, B is used on 1.6 Escort Hatchbacks only and C is used on 1.6 Estate and 1.8 Hatch/Estates...

OR if one is looking for longest possible gears (top speed) will look at ratio set C + 3.82 diff. Provided he has to choose from petrol engined shells.

I think until IB5 only mtx75 boxes were mounted on diesels, no B5s. After IB5 comes, the MTX75 is dropped and IB5 is mounted on petrols after 1995 as well as on diesels.

The billion dollar question is: What is (are) the ratio set/s/ for IB5 as well as diffs in diesel escorts which may be 1.8n/a and 1.8td ?
