Hi , some cuestions!!

Hi from Spain!!

 

I´m on the way to replace mi original Speakers on my ford Xri ( gti in UK ) MKVII... but I have some cuestions...

 

The front speakers are placed on the doors... I have been looking and I have advertised that they are 130 mm , they are placed on a plastic piece ( original adapter )... but I want to know if I cant get out the original speaker and fit a new ( and better ) speaker in the same adapter without making a lot of modifications.

 

The rear Speakers is more of the same... they are placed into a plastic piece.. I have removed one of then but I don´t know what size they are , may be 6x9 " ??? wil fit on the hole a 6x9" speakers?? may I mod the hole to make it more bigger to fit a 6x9" ??

 

Is there any photos about the install of the speakers in this car??

hello m8, u can get adaptors here so you can fit upto 17cm speakers in the front doors

 

for the rear speakers a little modification is needed to fit 6x9's, see here
