It all depends on what you really want... since I've done that, if you really like Escorts and would like it to be faster, then go for it and mod it. Also keep in mind that you learn something in the process IF you get your hands dirty. If you don't want to, and don't like the hassle,let it to pro's.Of course then you will just drive another moded car. Well, if you do it yourself, you will drive another moded car also, but you will learn something too in the process... If you just thing that it is just an aged car that it is not going fast and want to go faster, find something faster and buy it. If you really love your car, then do it... of course keep in mind that you will never get your money back if you mod it, but you will have a car mad the way you liked too. It's expensive, not "shiney" as a newer faster car, but in the end it is your car if you know what I mean... in the end, you will have to answer...
