John Posted October 18, 2003 Share Posted October 18, 2003 well there is the angel of the north thingy so as ppl have said must have been gateshead kinda way at some point. isn't the one of the fighterplane in the roundabout the sir frank whittle roundabout just south of leicester?? it's amazing i've driven past it 4 times over the last week yet i can't actually give a exact location of it! The 'Angel of the North' is at Gateshead, and yes the jet is the Sir Frank Wittle memorial on the roundabout just off junction 20 of the M1....
