900ss Posted November 11, 2003 Share Posted November 11, 2003 Does the gauge go straight over to hot when you turn the ignition on? If it does the sender is duff or wrong or you have a short in the loom or the sender plug has corrosion in it or maybe the gauge itself is duff.If it just gets hot very quickly and you know the fans are cutting in ok and the thermostat isn’t faulty then it may have a blown head gasket or a cracked head or it maybe just a blocked rad.
