kevinT Posted November 30, 2003 Share Posted November 30, 2003 just been on here 1 day had my escort only 1 week and ive got a 10 cd changer to put in the boot, ive got the standard RDS5000 ford unit and just need to know how to connect up, there are a few wires in the boot but i have no idea about sound systems, hopefuly1 is a leadfor a cd chager ! is it easy to wire??? the cd changer has a sort of amstrad style plug connector on it! any help would be good ! thanx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rich Posted December 1, 2003 Share Posted December 1, 2003 you need a ford changer to connect to a ford head unit, or an aftermarket one designed to work with ford head units. To get the sony changer working you would need to connect it to either a fm modulator and tune your radio into the frequency or get a sony head unit with the right connector. alternatively i happen to have a 6 cd ford changer sitting right in front of me ready to be sold, and i need a new sony changer funnily enough Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
