Phill
I've been having a few problems with my steering since I fitted my lowering springs on standard shocks.I have 40 mm springs, and when I put them on I also replaced the drivers side wishbone, as I'd knackered the balljoint.Since then, the steering has been out - I need to steer slightly left to go in a straight line.I suspect that perhaps because one wishbone is new and one isn't, that the bushes are worn unevenly and are throwing things out.Does this sound feasible, or could it be something else? I've ordered two new wishbones and am thinking of getting Deflex or Powerflex bushes to put in them. However, it'll cost about £50 to do the front - is it worth it? Scuba Matt
you got one yes one no and I'm a don't know sorry But it sounds to me like your tracking is out of alignment. At least that was what was wrong with mine when I it pulled slightly to one side.

RSwagoneer
Our club had a deal with Deflex bushes. I have also a set lying around here for the front end. But another mate with a Taunus already fitted the deflex bushes and he said it made a difference. Car handles better now. No more shudder when braking. So he's content with it.
