B19 JUB Posted February 19, 2004 Share Posted February 19, 2004 just wondered if people have any recommendations for decent but well priced tyres as all of mine are getting a tad low,205/40/17,ive got a539 on front at mo which i feel are too soft and falken ze512 for rear.ive been quoted for a set of avon mz's for 280 all in fitted etci know people are saying do it at work but what a shitebag to fit them onto the rim,took 4 of us and alot of sweating to get the tyre wall down,cant be arsed with that again lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
simion_levi Posted February 19, 2004 Share Posted February 19, 2004 Got my last full set of 4 fitted for £25 all in - and bought the tyres from www.mytyres.co.uk (used their recommended fitter for that price - but you should get a similar price from a local garage if you try.) Very happy with the price compared to local quotes to supply & fit. Decide what you want & get the price for a set from mytyres - add in the £20-30 for fitting and see if that's better than your current quote.
