John16v
I have just bought a audiobahn aw1208q 12inch 1500 watts rms sub. im gunna be using 18mm or 20mm mdf for the box and a rockford bd1501 amp (1500watts rms) to power the sub. i have looked on the audiobahn website but could not find how big the box would need to be............the guy said about 3cubic ft should be ok but i want to double check so that i can get the best sound from it john
Mac
theres a program called WinISD, if u know all the details of the sub then u can put them into that and it will design the box for u to the exact perfect size and can tune it and stuff. I Could email the program to u if u want?

John
3 cubic feet for one 12" sub seems a bit on the big side to me........i know my sub ain't as powerfull as yours but its still 12" and that needs a 1.5 cubic ft box.....which seems huge when fitted in the car so to build one at 3 cubic feet is about gonna go right across the back of the car
