voodoo Posted April 15, 2004 Share Posted April 15, 2004 has anyone found out the best way to resolve the problem that think alot of people may have had withtyre wear , my cars been lowered om g max shocks and springs by around 40mm and i run 17'' alloys , the problem is that the front offside tyre keeps scrubbing the tyre out big time on the inside edge mainly the tracking was done and its spot on , ive been told that uprated bushes are the way to go , ive even been told to upgrade to turbo diesel lower arms because they have uprated bushes from factory !??? help me please !!!! Phill Posted April 15, 2004 Share Posted April 15, 2004 Uprated bushes may help, but this kind of thing is a problem on the Escort because it doesn't have adjustable camber.A guy on the MkV reg made some new wishbones with rosejoints on to try and help, but I'm not sure how well it's worked.Otherwise, it's just a problem that I don't think you can do much about.
