Mart Posted May 4, 2004 Share Posted May 4, 2004 Sunday night looked to be a major cruise with almost 200 cars we spotted about during the day.As the evening drew closer, i met up with my mate in weston and we set out in his newly engine chromed series 2 rs turbo. We headed over to MAccy D's to check out the other cars. On arriving, we saw a completely refurbished mitsu GTO with lambi doors and with a phat boot install which had so much bass it set off all the alarms in the car park. A nissan 3000 with orange flip paint turned up for 10mins and left quite early, dunno why.Later on, 2 skylines came round the corner and parked up, both imported 2 weeks ago and a sportin a new carbon spoiler. After an hour, we went for a drive and met up with my boss who was out in his 360 spider. Certainly showed up a boyed up saxo on the duel carriageway.There were so many decent cars its hard to list them all and wud take to long,will try to post sum pics at a later date. The weston wheels ladies were out in their tight hot pants and bikini tops handing out flyers and taking pics, (we had one taken of the RS ). I will post a report of all the cars we saw out and will put up pics nxt week at the next cruise)At about 10:30, there were roughly 30 pig cars about who blocked any one from entering maccy d's and gave every1 a 15min warning letter and free entry onto a public nuisance list (insurance company will love that). They then subsiquently shut off every car park in wesont and thats saying summin.Our lil convoy eventually found a lil spot where a few cars were parked off all trying to rev their exhaust off,a large rev form my mates rs soon shut them up. The nite was eventually drawn to a sudden conclusion as the pigs issued a warning that any cars found in car parks not using the facilties wud be impounded. Throughout the nite,i spread the escort evolution to a few peeps, including 2 greeks with Cossies and a few mk5 owners. Also gave me a chance to see some other mk5s and give me some ideas.
