I dare say i culd figure it out but i dont want to get halfway through and find i need a special tool. I Have the spring compressors. How do i go about doing it. Any helps apreciated. sime73 Posted May 26, 2004 Share Posted May 26, 2004 best getting a haynes manual but seeing as im bored ill do a quick runthrough based on a mk6 (should be similar) take off wheel and undo the hub bolt that holds the shock on and try to open out the hub a fraction, makes it easier to get the shock outundo the 2 nuts holding the brake hose to the strutnow take the shocker out the hub, usually by means of hammering the hub down off the shock then remove the 3 bolts inside the engine bay that hold the shock in Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
