Should I Take A Chance For Cheap Rims?

Ok basically I bought a set of 17" team dynamics in offset Et38 a few months ago. Now I have been offered a Mint set of 17" Fox Evo 1 et42 finished in polychrome, 4 good falken tyres 205/40 £250 max.

I know that for an escort an offset of between ET36 and 41 should be used.

But should I take up this offer for a cheap set of spare rims, or giv it a miss as the offset of Et42 is too high? I need advice soon as i need to decide next few days before i go on holiday.

Ne one have ne experience of ET42 on a 'scort

Cheers

Ben

Yeah they bend really easily, you normally find that you're better with stronger wheels in the long run. Like OZ wheels or BBS

:thumb: Agreed!

I was going to go for one of the strongest wheels around - 18' Compmotive MO's, until Clarky PJ got them on his escort..... so I've no idea anymore! X(
