Paulo
www.deflex.co.uk is their official site Deflex is identical material to Powerflex but Powerflex is easier to fit apparently Ive had both and id say they are exactly the same while driving... but deflex is usually cheaper... Paulo
scort19 when you fitted yours did you have trouble because u have to keep a metal sleve from the original bushes to use on the new, but its almost stuck to the original rubber bush??

Rob84
if i was to get some new wishbones....will the bushes be easy to remove and replaced with deflex ones??
Paulo
if i was to get some new wishbones....will the bushes be easy to remove and replaced with deflex ones?? no basically. u need a press and also it takes alot of messing around. the new wishbones have normal bushes in them, but u need to get the metal surround of the normal bushes off so that you can fit the deflex ones into this bit of metal. its a bit tricky to say the least. plumber60
if i was to get some new wishbones....will the bushes be easy to remove and replaced with deflex ones?? not totally sure matey but i think dolans quoted me £190 including fitting for a full powerflex bush kit
Cyrix
Total mess on matey but worth it, We used large sockets in a heavy duty vice to press the bushes out on my mates astra, Pretty similar setup in terms of how the bushes fit into the arm. Failnig that pay the man and give soemoen else the pleasure lol

Paulo
Update: Deflex Bushes are VERY difficult to fit to aftermarket (i.e Partco) lower arms. Apparently they are alot easier to fit to genuine Ford lower arms. Apparently Powerflex are a far simpler job for both genuine and aftermarket lower arms. marcus
ive heared the deflex are shite and powerflex are MUCH better hence the price difference as you pay for what you get!!! Marcus
jonnybelfast
HAve powerflex in, paid for some1 else to do it. If you ever need to do any susp work like lower the wishbone out of the hub then it's a mare cos ya have to swing like a monkey on the tie to remove the ball joint. The std bushes are ten times softer, and a hundred times less reliable.JOnny
