Alan Escort SI
Hi mate can see your getting no joy Rite you will need to jack the car into the air (quite high ) and you will need some large blocks of wood to support the beam DRUMS undo the 4 bolts on the back of the drums, try to hang them up some how or if you have a mate get him to hold them!! To take the beam off there are 10 bolts 4 either side for the beam where it connects to the chassis and 1 either side where the suspention arm connects to the beam basically try to undo all the bolts but make sure it is supported as if it falls on you it will hurt!!!!!! You will find that the handbrake cable will run along the length of the beam diconnect this and tie it out of the way (You will find that there are 2 plastic cups where the handbrake cable slides make sure that these are located and UNWORN. Before re-fitting the cable to these cups GERASE them make sure you murder the bolts back up fitting the beam is obviously the reverse of above Hopefully you wont have any problems if you do PM me Alan
