dazzler24 Posted August 22, 2004 Share Posted August 22, 2004 ive just got some blue led sidelights which look good when the car engine is not running but when engine is running headlights come on aswell which looks crap.when i say headlights come on if u turn the switch to sidelights a small wattage must travel to headlights aswell making them come on.Is ther anyway of stopping this. Mk6 Si Ross Posted August 22, 2004 Share Posted August 22, 2004 you have to modify the headlight relay by removing it and bridging the necessary holes to make the headlights work and this low level powered headights on sidelights not work. Done it on my old Mondeo but couldn't tell you exactly what holes do what, see ur Haynes manual if you can read wiring diagrams (i can't!) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
