BlairM
when driving the car along the motorway, sometimes sitting at 70 the steering wheel will be fine, then moments later it can start shaking, still at 70? I don't know whats up. I also think they may be bent slightly (swapped bent front one with back last night) - but even that still hasn't really helped. I had it up on stands in gear last night just to see them spinning. i'm gonna try getting them balanced (which I hope is all it is!) but that front wheel looked way out. if not gonna look at some new wheels, i can't be arsed driving in an uncomfortable car! also what profile on 195/15 tyres is best for comfort ? 60 i'd presume but i'd go for 55 look better! Rob84
if ur wheels were out of balance, they would either shake or not at certain speeds, not go between the two.
Ex-Finesse
Fox wheels do bend. 195 tyres on 15s normally have a 45 or 50 profile. My mates corsa had 45s, but I'd recommend 50 as this is probably closer to standard size
BlairM
i've got 50 profile right now, gonna take it to get balanced on friday and tell the guy to tell me if they're bent. if so, will suffer them until i can afford a set of 15's with tyres /or another set of 15's and get the tyres swapped on em.
