Blimey Posted September 19, 2004 Share Posted September 19, 2004 Just got a reply from local place: Hi mate The handles would cost £25 each The mouldings £100The lock surrounds would be very tricky so i would not be interested in spraying these (sorry) The number plate surround if i remember is a chrome one if it is plastic then no problem and would cost £55 Thanks for the email hope to here from you soon Jason@ JB Autos I was thinking it was gonna b around £100-150 at the most, £205 total and that wouldnt b the lock surrounds either Is this about average or a rip off? frew Posted September 19, 2004 Share Posted September 19, 2004 i did my front bumper and it looks just about fine (10 year old car, so obviously the paintwork has faded a bit), but scratches easily.. no way i'd spend 25 quid to get a HANDLE painted though!! I dunno about everyone else, but where my car is concerned, i like things to be done properly, so I wouldn't do any paint jobs myself - coz I know i'd likely mess it up.
