PHIL C
has anyone in here taken a grinder to their arches so their wheels dont rub?? i know the two skins on the arch are spot welded and this is what causes the problem if you grind, but is there anyway of sealing what is left after iu've grinded it? Ex-Finesse
I think you're meant to have the arch heated to soften the paint......? I can't roll my arches, got fibreglass underneath them (arch extensions). Was gonna grind lips off (arches are bonded on too) but whats this about spot welds on the lip? PHIL C
i've been told that they are only spot welded so if you grind them off your arches wont last 5 minutes. Bear in mind it wasnt from a very reliable source
neil
Im sure they are spot welded thats why along the lip there is a line of dots slightly visible through the paintwork and when they rust they bubble up between the welds.
