Longy
Anyone know where the idle speed control valve is on the 1.8 (115ps) zetec engine? I thought it would be near the throttle position sensor but can´t seem to see it any where on the throttle housing! Cheers

Escort GTI
It´s a pain in the arse to get to, take it to Ford and get them to do it. only cost me £45 quid for the part and labour.
Longy
yeah I found it after 900ss other post (cheers buddy) and what a pain in the arse place it is to! i´ve not pulled it off yet but I had to put it up on Ramps and I can just reach it with a spanner from underneath. as soon as I get some brake cleaner i´m gonna do it although tempted for ford to do it but it will save me £45 quid if I do, just abit of hassle thats all.
