hitchen1985 Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 Ok people my car is really startin to annoy me now, my car starts ok but then idles a tiny bit to low, as soon as you touch the accelerator it revs upto 3000 stays there for 10 seconds and then normally stalls, and sumtimes it just revs randomly, it is startin to happen more and more! the engine is a 1.6 zetec and has just had a full service so its not badly treated, help on this wud be appreciated guys!!! hitchen1985 Posted February 25, 2005 Author Share Posted February 25, 2005 i was gettin really annoyed at my car so i jus gave in and took it to ford and they found it to be a fault on the ecu so they jus reset it and now it idles perfectly and it only cost me £35 wot a bargain!!!
