whats the 0-60 and top speed of the following cars if any one knows em,

its to end an arguement im having with a mate,

he says hes got an astra 1.6 sxi 3 door, 03 plate. says its 130bhp and has a top speed of 140mph, hes basing the fact it's 130bhp on the fact he kept up with a mate, and the mate SAYS that his is 130bhp, so they have to be the same

and hes saying it a groupd 4 insurance, the cd 1.6 is a group 4/5, so the sportier sxi must be a 6/7

so to summerise,

a 1.6 130bhp ecotech astra, returning 42mpg, 140mph topspeed, and 0-60 in about 8.5???

im smelling bull Shite, but i wanna know for sure, cos i know feck all about astras,

but the 1.4 focus doesnt do 42mpg, the st170 does 140 at a push, and 8.5 is just behind the st,

so im after performance figures for,

the lovely 1.8gti escy,

the shimey st170

and the remarkable dull astra 1.6 sxi
