There seems to be a "protective" sheet of metal around my backbox, and it's peeling away now and is vibrating like fcuk against the spare wheel well, is it ok to rip the bugger off ?

 

Don't wanna damage the rest of the backbox.

i think it'll be repair foil, basically just stick it round when theres a hole in the exhaust, might not be, but thats the only thing i can think of,

if it is then you might be able to stick it back, or it might need replacing,

you'll have to have a good look at it to find out,

Mine has got something like that happening too but towards the middle section of the car, found out it was the heat shield!
