celsis
Guys, here's a strange one. Just recently, when I'm in first, the engine seems to shudder and stall! If I keep revving, it's ok, but if I just sit in neutral, the car seems to give a shake and then it stalls. And it doesn't happen all the time! Any ideas? Manda
Mine started to do that....... now a year on, ive had my idol valve cleaned by ford, and my car has been checked and engine groomed over and over again by mechanics and its just got worse and worse. Now it stall and bunny hops in any gear and mostly neutral! Its my throttle housing thats causing mine........
Muzz
Try unplugging the MAF sensor, if the engine goes back to normal then this is your problem .

white_van_matt
Is it when you hit full lock on the steering at all?If it is, mine does that and i've been told on here it's the power steering load sensor.
