snowdog2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 okay have undon all the engine mounts apart from 4 and the gearbox is al undon aswell an all i need to do is take out the 4 mounts an i gots an engine on my driveway but that is not the problem i have somebody told me that because of the pats system on my mk5b escort you cant fit a 2.0l zetec in 4 y? is this true? if its true is there anyway around it? or a guide i can use to KILL pats as its turning out to be more of a pain than its worth. as far as i know im gonna b taking the 2.0l outta a mondeo an slipping it in wit the moose head etc changed over along wit the ecu if somebody could tell me wtf i do ? would b gr8 cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ex-Finesse Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 In the meantime, you could use a 130spec 1.8 ECU, which will give much closer fueling..... and the 2.0 MAF should make up any slight shortcomings!
