John Boy
Havent used my car on the road since September as went back to uni, but had it out of the garrage over easter, and noticed that when turning the steering wheels the suspension spring on the passengers seems to twist then pop back to its original position, is this likely to be because the car aint been used in ages? or something more serious? colin_j
Does it twist at the bottom or top??? if its at the bottom it sounds like the bush at the top has seized or sumthing and wont allow the shock move it!! Colin
The Ince
it could be something like, Strut assembled in the wrong order (the bearing in the wrong place)The bearing being warn. just ideas but could be the problem as mine cracked when i lowered it to start with, then took it apart again and found I'd put the bearing in the wrong place! sidrick
Sounds like a broken spring to me. Jack it up, take the wheel off and have a look.
