Rennie Posted June 8, 2005 Share Posted June 8, 2005 right i have just got my Sreg Escort last week which has a mondeo 2.0 mondeo engine fitted in it the lad i got it off got the conversion done a year or so ago but it is running on the standard 1.6 ecu which he had been told is making it fueling wrong for the engine i want to know which ecu's i can use to get this right as i want the engine running to its full potential and also dont want to be doing any damage to it buy it not fueling right i know that i need to get one without PATS but i dont know what the codes are etci know the lads that convert their Fiesta Si's use the "DEEP" ecu but i have also been told that there are other ones out there that will also work Any Help would be greatful Thanks Adam Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

marcus Posted June 8, 2005 Share Posted June 8, 2005 u read it wrong, the guy on FEOC was stating some of the names for the ECU's there are 100's. u cant use the mondeo ECU without major work. the connection block is different so you will have to change te loom an even then u will have to get rid of pats get a unichip, so much easier an less hassle Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

basskiddanny Posted June 8, 2005 Share Posted June 8, 2005 Theres a place in blackpoool that will map the engine for you. they charge £400 including P&p for the chip and to have it setup, they spend a good few hours taking it on test runs to get it spot on, they also make a general check of the engine for you.
