Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}>throttle bodies work by removing the restriction of air into the engine.if u think, when your engine is at full throttle ur engine wants to breathe, but your single throttle body(say 50mm) will only allow so much air into ur manifold, then it gets shared into 4,so not much air to each cylinder.now throttle bodies,u have a throttle body per cylinder usually 45mm now when ur engine is at full throttle it can breathe alot more,as long as u can give the engine the required fuel you will make more powerto make more power out of an engine basically the more air you get in the more power u get out, think turbo, think supercharge, all they do is push as much air in.
