chris_nuneaton
Any suggestions on a steering problem I have? Intermittantly the steering will feel like the front tyres are flat, and when you come to a stop the steering will pull to one side (can be either depending on camber of road!) I’ve experimented with tyre pressures but no difference and I’ve changed the lower arms as well. Drop links were suggested, but I would have thought I’d be getting knocking noises over bumps, and the rubbers look ok on them! This is sending me mad, so any ideas to try would be appreciated! its a '97 1.6 lx by the way Cheers,Chris

chris_nuneaton
I think I can cross tyres off the list, as it did it with the original orrid steelies that were on it when i got the car, and its still doing it with a set of alloys & tyres that had done less than 1k when I fitted them a couple of weeks ago I did change the disks and pads last week and the calipers seemed to move freely For the price of them I may change the drop links anyway and cross them off the list of possibles
