Predator_Aod
Another problem! I noticed my Temp Gauge (Standard), does not pass the black on to normal anymore. I know it bust cos look at how hot the it is outside. Does anyone know how I can sort this probelm? How much it'll cost? If I was to try, how hard will it be for me to fix? Any tips please! Thanks people (Escort GTI)

VAT from your local Ford dealer (I got 40% off the price quoted because relatives worked at Dagenham). Also you need to consider have you had any work done under the bonnet??? servicing etc, then it'll need resetting (Don't know how) It's a 1 inch brass part with a black socket on the back for wires, goes behind the dash. Hope that helps E5C0127 51NGH
magicdragon
Does sound like the sender is at fault. If you do decide to replace it make sure to get a genuine one from Fords, more so if your car is 95 on, as its the only way your get the right one. Simple enough job to do yourself really. Mk6 Si Ross
i'd try sender then thermostat, both about 10/15 quid each and reasonble DIY parts if you don't mind getting wet when you take the rad hoses off!!
