Wiring probs with fezza

Hey,

 

I got a 1994 M reg fezza as a temporary run-around till i can afford a new car. Now im puttin my ICE in it, managd to get all the wires sorted, but i dnt know how to get the live cable in 2 the car?? I know on the escort thers a grommet in the passenger wheelarch, is this the same with the fezza?? If nt where wuld i run it?

There's a grommet on the passenger side.

 

If you open the bonnet and look under the front windscreen, on the bulkhead, you will see it.

 

Take that off and you'll see a hole, push the wire into it.

 

I found a long bendy screwdriver, with the wire taped to it helped

 

If you go inside the car and take out the passenger heater/air vent and the ducting/tube behind it.

 

You should see the wire or the screwdriver. Have a fiddle around if you can't see it, as you won't be far off it.

 

There might be a better way of doing this, but I found the above was easiest, as you can run the wire straight from the battery, along the wing and through the hole, without diverting wires around the car everywhere.
