I'm in the process of loosing my spare wheel too, for the same reason.. Bummer really, but once I have my install finished I think it will be worth it. Either that or you could cut a hole in your false floor so that you can remove everything if you need to get to your wheel. Y dont ya cover the wheel well in perspex and put a neon in there?
