how hard is it too fit a new exhaust and has anyone got any pics or anything to show?

It isn't difficult you just need a set of axle stands, a big hammer and ALOT of patience .

so what do i have to do? any pics to show me?

and would one of them of ebay which are like £40 work, the full aluminium ones?

if you've still got the original TD exhaust then it's a bit trickier than a petrol as the pipe will be 1 solid piece, but not much at all. Won't take you long. If I'm right the £40 ebay one's are a universal backbox only, so need the pipe to join it onto the rest of the exhaust welding on, I maybe wrong.

right, so how would i fit one if i got some pipe onto the back of it?

my mate has just bought one for his civic. they are universal but you can buy a fitting kit, basically 2 exhaust clamps and a piece of flexible exhaust pipe.

 

you need to cut your old backbox off where you are going to fit your new one so that you can pretty muchclamp the new box onto the pipe from your old exhaust system.

 

I hope that makes some sort of sense
