central locking help

right, ive been trying to fit my remote central locking kit recently, and i cut the wires for the central locking solenoid on the passenger side and then connected them back up to make sure they were ok but nothing happened after that!!! ive connected them back up and got them to do this:

 

lock all four doors from drivers side but not on passengers side,

open all four doors from passengers side but only when ive opened the door fully

 

any ideas??

 

i havent got the remote unit linked up yet so its just the bare stuff there

My husband recently fitted a remote locking kit to mine. He had some trouble getting it to work. It works now, but I can't deadlock the car by the remote as yet, have to do it by the key. I'll see if he has any ideas.

The only thing i can think of that you might of left a wire off or wired them back up wrongly,

1, Why cut the wire on the passanger side?

2, Try disconnecting the battery for about 10 mins, that should reset the central locking unit, BEFORE you do, make sure you dont lose the radio key/code or anything else.

did u check the wire where it goes into the car door/shell?

i knocked the big connection wire between the main car and the door out but ive put that back in and seems to be in properly cause it locks from the drivers side??

where you get the central locking kit from i want a kit on mine its only two door so it should be easy
