I'd like some help please - been browsing this forum for a while today and got no firm answer.....

What size speakers fit in the standard pods in the MkV cabriolet - mine are shot to hell and need replacing badly! Any recommendations would be good too!

Bearing in mind that my HU is going to be an Alpine with AiNet connector for my iPod, which amp/sub combo do people here reckon gives best sound/value? Thanks in advance!

fronts are 13cm, and rears could well be the same, not sure about the rears cuz its a cabby. where are the rear speakers?

there are pods you can get to put bigger door components in if you fancy - and you can place what i believe to be the origional door card back over.... dont know really how its done - ill try to find out - my mate's donr it in his rs2000

Not sure on a Mk 5, but the front and rear speakers on a Mk 6 are the same, those egg shaped plastic jobbies that can be changed to 17cm with the adapter.

Thanks mate. The rears are in the side near the window switches - I think it's the same as usual.....:/
