steve_sport_scort
dose anybody know were the central locking control box is mounted on the s reg shap fiesta's by the way wot mark is that it should be in the same sort of place as they are on the escort,it'll be fitted to ghia models, from 96 onwards, easiest way to check is look at the interior light,if its got the little black dome on the light, its infra red remote locking, which is what you want, its plug and play, straight swap for the escort one,the code written on the locking box should bePT NO, 96 FG 15K600 FAPA 6-30GK then all you need is the light with infra red reciever (about £50), and a infra red remote keysecond hand about £20, and the key blade from ford (about £4, with free key cutting).if you installed an electric sunroof and had to use the specail loom from ford, then you should have the extra plug on that, that connects the interior light sensor to the fuse box, there is a radio central locking box, but finding the radio control boxes is damn hard, they where apparently only fitted to the last few escorts produced, and i cant find any information on what recievers they use,its a much better locking system that works over a longer distance, and doesnt work on line of sight like infra red, and the infra red keys are the 2 button versions, so dont have the boot open button, hope that answers any questions
