sealed spark plugs?

hey,

 

earlier on today one of my HT leads went, causing the car to missfire, etc etc barely driveable etc, anyway, as a quick fix i changed the HT lead with one i had for my fiesta, this is in perfect working order and makes the car drive properly again... one thing is tho the lead connector is slightly different... the one i took off kind of sealed the spark plug into the hole, and this one doesnt, will this cause any problems? its only a short term fix untill i can afford some new ones...
