Bex Posted December 3, 2006 Share Posted December 3, 2006 I spotted a couple of these posts and thought i'd add one... be nice well my first baby was a manual choke.. 1.4 CARB .. renault19. I was given her for free and she had a seeeerious attitude problem but i loved her. I was told I wasn't allowed to modify her in any way she was just to learn in... PAH yeah right so first thing was to get rid of the 15yr old kenwood dash speakers and whip in a set of new kenwoods... then do the same with the 6x9s. Can't possibly think why the sound was so bad before... LOL! after her i got my wee saxo diesel (yes I did say diesel NA aswell lol)... I was actually not allowed to modify this because it had so many miles on it. 130k fully main dealer serviced book all stamped and hunners of recipts. this was my first car after passing my test..I loved her to bits and she ran sweet as a nut but I couldn't mod her so it was time to move on after a year. and so we come to my current baby and a serious extension of my personality... I had wanted an escort since i was about 14 (the mks may have changed but my love for them hasnt). even though she came with a lot of the mods on her I have started to set about making her more my own with changing the Limo black tints to a light smoke all over for safety reasons, and getting rid of the old Lockwoods for my seriously loved Plasma dials!! I am busting to do a lot more to her but at present cant afford to. I would love the Gti interior or possibly the rs2k sats and door cards. so here is my baby incase you haven't seen her so there ya go.. Only passed my test almost 2 years ago although been into cars for soooooo long. Hope you like them oohh and as a wee extra... my mate let me loose in his pride and jot before I passed my test... not often you see a skyline with L plates scuse the state of me I was not long home from work and this pic is old lol. and yes before anyone says I am checking the controls because it's a jap import and I'd never driven one before!!! Bex Posted December 3, 2006 Author Share Posted December 3, 2006 Wonderful collection!! i learnt in a Citroen C2, practised in my mums Citroen AX, and now i have my fez thats it!! i never thought 5 doors would look good with window tints but youve changed my mind thankyou the tints are totally different to that now, I have a light smoke on the front and a slightly darker smoke on my backs, reason being the Limo black it came with was totally unsafe, the fact that u cant see anything out the back window cos of the spoiler, coupled with limo black tints on the rear doors was just crazy. . the tints on it now mean it looks like this so you may not like it as much lol.
