fitting a rev counter

I have got an escort mk6 with no rev counter, can someone please tell me if it is possible to fit gti dials to my car and have the rev counter working? or do i need to buy an after market rev counter, any help will be appreciated

It is technically possible, but you need to know a fair bit about wiring. I'm not sure if the connectors on the back of the clocks are the same or not.

 

An aftermarket one would be the way to go if you don't know much about electrics.
