cams/chain rs2000

if i need to get my chain changed- is it worth me gettin my cams done instead, and just have the chain replaced when thats being done.... what else can i do... what about gaskets and stuff? and the valves.... i have read the rs2000 gets its power from its head, what else is there? different valve springs? valves? one day i wanna run nitrous, but only when my engine is strong enough. seen somewhere i can get the head "converted" to 200 bhp. is this right? any costs? sorry got loadsa questions..... love my rs. love it.
