So then, with this game hitting the streets tomorrow/tuesday i'm opening this topic for discussion of the game and the arranging of online meet ups. My copy of the game is being shipped in the morning so I'll have it for when I get back from work on Tuesday. (shopto tried to ship it yesterday but they couldnt take payment as the card registered on my account was an expired one so I've just had to put my new card details in)

Mine didnt arrive either, so i went to sainsburys at 7PM, bought 30 quids worth of shopping and got the game for 29 quid, will return my pre-order to shopto as soon as it arrives for a full refund (ill have to pay return postage) but ill still end up a tenner in pocket. So far I've only played multiplayer, and most of the maps I suck at, but some Im competitive on

So far so good.

I'm quite a competant player when it comes to COD online, but this is quite tough at the moment (imo). Possibly because I haven't yet had the opportunity to play in in my usual party.

I like all the maps, but with Team Deathmatch, I think they're just too big. I've been playing Ground War instead (which i think is 9 on 9, instead of 6 on 6). But still, stupid team mates let you down. Don't capture flags, watch you get shot, and not to mention the endless people sat in corners.

Theatre mode is pretty good. Really impressed with that.. I went on a 9-0 run yesterday on FFA, found a nice spot to call my chopper in and I got knifed straight away. ..so that "fail" is on my file share. lol

Looking forward to playing search & destroy

When I play, I play with a few mates as a team! What a ball ache it is!. We can spend 40 mins tryin to get into a lobby then play for 30mins and have to start all over again!

They're patching the server issues in the first official update. They're well aware of the difficulites PS3 users have had.. very frustrating trying to play in a party!

Servers aside, this is a massive improvement on MW2, I really like it. It seems to be really separating the good/bad players.. where as with MW2, you could be an idiot and do well (score-wise) if you had your noobtube/commando class as a crutch

Nice little video that. I've not had a go on the theatre bit yet. Still trying to learn all the maps.

I've got a couple more video's to post later.. one highlighting the terrible spawn system (on Domination)

So its been a week, what are everyone's thoughts so far?

I started off fantastically, On TDM and headquarters, working well with a Famas with extended mags, but these past 3 days I've been useless, It's not like im playing experienced player (most in my lobbys are lower levels than me and yet to prestige (Im 38 or 39, prestige 0) Either my Broadband is now getting throttled (I think this because killcam vids show me not getting rounds off even though I could see that I did) or Im being put into lobbies with players who dont match my KD ratio

The spawn system does have its flaws, especially in nuketown

These past 2 days I've enjoyed zombies more than TDM etc... And I've barely touched Single player, not finished the mission where you slot Castro yet
