fiestamike
I'm assuming plenty of people have come across this issue. Went to trial fit a cossie grille on my 5b. The front panel has a section which completely interferes and wont let it fit. What's the accepted method of getting around it?
SLEEMAN
Have you bought a genuine cossie grill?
supersport
have you removed the plastic bit? there are differences between mk5 and mk5b
fiestamike
Its a genuine grille. Has the black plastic grille bit that unclips. Even with that off it clashes with the front panel. Drivers side sits forward a good inch maybe more. The front panel bit sticks inwards 4 or 5 inches from the headlight. I don't plan on cutting the lug off the back of it. supersport
pics might help, as all mk5 and mk5b front panels are the same.
fiestamike
Decided i'll flog the genuine grille and get a fibreglass one I won't be bothered about cutting up. Putting a standard mk5 grille on for now.
