fox3
Sounds like you've got a petrol cluster, you need the TD one

M44K TS
thats the thing, did they do a td with the digi miles with the rev counter? I know the late td vans had digi miles clocks (like mine) but not sure if they ever had rev counters?
white_van_man
ahh you have the later model, sorry i didn't realise. did they have tacho's? i'm sure they did, the wiring on the back will most likely be different (ie it might not be pin8) but it will work the same Edited September 1, 2007 by white_van_man

zvh,rst
still couldn't get mine working, digi dials with rev counter into 1.8d, all i got when i connected it up was 5900rpm at idle then past 7k when tapping the throttle any ideas?i would like to know to ,as i have got a 2000. x,reg escort estate, was a 1.6 zetec and have put a turbo diesel engine and box out of a m,reg escort and when i run a wire from the alt to my digi petrol clocks, it does the same,so are diesel and petrol digi rev counters not the same, as i know all early clocks are different ie, diesel, efi, and carb, rev counters not the same. and on all early clocks the rev counter wire was green, but on my petrol digi clocks it is white/black wire, any one know

fox3
Right, got these in the other day, and funnily enough as white van man said, you do need to remove the needle. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/redfiestaboy/Ajmp.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/redfiestaboy/Image001-2.jpg Look good though! Just a note of caution, dont shove the needle back on too hard, it'll stick on the dial face if you do!

nsd_steve
did this earlier, has anybody observed the difference between the two modules, only difference i could see was the value of the large electrolytic capacitor, if this is the case it could potentially mean that any dial could be converted without buying a td one, will look into it in greater detail tomorrow!
