Stu Posted April 25, 2008 Share Posted April 25, 2008 I got a good quote on my Escort, but when called back to tweak it slightly I was told that car audio could only be insured up to £500 max or 10% of the book value of the car (whichever is lower) - so make note of this folks that you'll only get about £30-50 worth of incar audio cover!! It wasnt quite the cheapest (only a tenner out) but then the cheapest is part of the company I wanted to leave because of their poor customer service. I dealt with Jon who was really helpful and sorted me out with all the cover I wanted at a price I was happy with. Lamb Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 (edited) hi mine runs out in week would like to know how much to insure it please at moment i do have 2 no claims ( but insurance company holding them back over a claim over a year ago that both me and the other driver are not accepting liability due to know damage what so ever occurred) and fault is still pending. (question Tim how long will this normally go if there was no damage and the other person still claiming it was me and vice versa, due to fault is still pending will it close and i make my recovery for my bonuses? ) But i don't know how to ask a quote with that situation car has various modifications just have to see on show us your motor or on my signature oh and its a 1.6 16v 1998 S reg (R on private plate), parked in a closed garage within a private property area 5-6,000 miles per annum hope this helps as i haven't got time to call you today or this bank holiday weekend thanks lamb Edited May 23, 2008 by Lamb Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
