Rsailor
I am in the process of going self employed as a mechanic so I had to get a motor trade policy.I can drive any car up to the value of £5000. Has anyone considered getting a quote as Escort Evolution as the Company and its members as there empolyee's. There might be a loop hole to insure everyones car for a fraction of what everyone is paying. If 10 people are paying over a £1000 on there insurance thats £10,000 right. If the quote came back a £4000 that would be alot cheaper. £400 per year instead of over a grand. Just an idea. Rsailor
I got a quote with road runners for £875. I haven't taken out the insurance yet as my friend has a motor trade policy which he pay's £210 a year. He can drive any vehicle up to £25000. I won't get it that low as I'm not in my 40's but I want to get it as cheap as possible.I have to get a motor trade policy with extra cover for work, tools etc. I need everything covered including breaking cars, selling and repairing them.I've got 8-9 years no claims but It won't bring it down as much on a motor trade policy.
