I have have seen mk5bs wrote off for a bumper and headlight before so thats definately a scrapperyeah they wrote off mine for bumper/ headlight and dented wing.i fixed it all for £50, if that was my car id tie rope round it and pull that back out, then get new light, bumper and bonnet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

santa_gti Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 I had a slightly worse crash than this with the damage in the same place, i had only bought the car a few months before for £800 and then spent another £900. The chassis had to be straightened, cut and rebuilt. There was alot of welding done and new parts were needed and the whole front had a respray. I paid a garage £800 for the work as didnt have the time to attempt it myself and i had just won £2000 on a scratch card. Now the gearbox has gone and ive bought a corsa as a run around.
