K3V HA
Me and my dad are thinking about buying a series 1 or saphy cos just for the summer, but my dad is a bit reluctant cos someone has told him that these dont run on unleaded petrol. Does anyone know if this is true? i thought that the series 1 does and the cossie will need Super unleaded?? Any replies would be appreciated cos we're going to look at a couple today?? Al
I have had a few saff cossies........and yes they do run fine on unleaded, due to tougher valves/seats.As for the S1, i'm sure i ran mine on unleaded, but if you are worried you can put in a lead replacement additive. RRX
All sierra cossies could run on unleaded and some S1's could run on unleaded
Twisted
All sierra cossies could run on unleaded and some S1's could run on unleaded not originally, only the green top cossies were said to run on unleaded and even then super is advised. S1's were never built for unleaded back in 1985/
