exhaust heat wrapping

from what ive read (on the back on the packet) the heat wrap keeps the heat in and that keep up the velocity of the air so it flows faster. i heat wrapped mine and it made no difference, by that i mean it was still hot as fook under the botton. i think you need to do at least 2 layers for any difference in underbonnet temps

yeh you can heat wrap the exhaust system, not to sure you heat wrapping the cat tho, there is a product called zircotek i think it is which is a heat wrap, but is sprayed on, but what this does is reduce under bonnet temperatures, ideal for the induction kits, because it lowers temps, a engine runs better on colder air temps, but you wouldnt really notice a performance gain
